Quests require to much in too little time.

kittypunkdog
After 4 days of trying to do the gangster week quest I finally quit and sold all the junk that I had to buy in order to try to finish it.

How did others feel about this quest?

The amount of items needed to unlock the levels is not worth the payout. At the same time that we have to complete the table, we have to waste too much energy on the other quest to get the doll. While the Sims developers may like to believe that we all spend every spare minute we have playing this game, I have had enough of the time-limited quests. It used to be that the project items gave you 1 day per level to unlock. Not so with this casino table - not enough time to complete, making me waaaay too frustrated and quite frankly, I play game to relieve the stress of my actual life. I sure don't need it in a virtual world that is supposed to be fun. I must say, the fun went out of this game for me a long time ago but because I enjoyed creating a beautiful home I kept playing. I have finally reached the point where the negative outweighs the positive for me so dramatically with this game that I don't want to play it anymore.

I wouldn't mind the time given to complete the quests if they didn't ask for such rare items (and items we cant ask friends for.) There's no way im going to be able to finish the gangster quest. Stupid water drop things. i had one drop, finally, after i had my sim eat for like 30 minutes straight.  its ridiculous.

I *completely* agree --- these three part quests are killing me - and kind of killing the fun. I hate the whole "doll" motif -- I don't like wasting my simoleons on stuff like that!

Plus, as you said, there is not enough time at ALL to get them done unless you sit there and play all day long. (And you can't even do that without running out of energy.)

So annoying. I wish they would quit it with the three part quests all together.

I am debating whether or not I'm going to bother with this genie one - leaning toward "no" already.

It wouldn't be so bad if they extended the time duration and also if they would extend the energy. Give us MORE ENERGY! Some things just cannot be completed with only 15 energy, plus the time spent waiting for more energy is ridiculous!

I have given up on doing any timed quests because I can just not finish them in time. with this dragon quest i thought i finally had a chance but then it turned out that building the tower consisted of three parts (i had just finished part 1) :S I know you are meant to work for the prizes but it seams that only hardcore players get to have all the stuff and i am a casual player and therefore i get nothing, ever.

Give you more time, they gave us 9 days....I am one that finishes all quest on the day it comes out of within the time limit of us having to wait the 24 hrs. or 11 hrs. for plants, so I know it can be done if you put your mind to it. They aren't hard at all. This last one was the easiest one besides the last one that I had done...I don't understand what is the complain with you guys. I asked my friends for items or to click the links I sent out and finished with so much ease.....If you can't finish in 9 days, something is wrong....Just saying
